3. Can I get a room by myself?
You can get a single room for a rough estimate price of $300-$600. The price is dependent upon the length of your trip. We try to do double occupancy when at all possible to save you and your roommate money. It is also a great growth opportunity to have a roommate so you can build relationship with people you may not necessarily know, which is a key piece to this trip. We prefer you to have a roommate, but we will make exceptions on a case by case basis. If you are requesting a room by yourself, please reach out to your Team Coordinator as soon as possible.
4. Where do I send my passport and other documents?
• You can upload your passport inside of the Managed Missions software after you login. Click "tasks & goals", find your task, and upload your document there. Please name your document "Last name, First name"
5. Can I pick my roommate?
• You can request a specific person as your roommate, but we cannot make any guarantees that we can accommodate.
6. How does flight cost work?
• You have a $600 flight cap, that is included in the cost of your trip. If your flight exceeds $600, you will be responsible for paying the additional funds. The remaining amount will be added to your fundraising page so you can fundraise.
7. When will my flight be ordered?
• Your flight will be ordered when you are at least 50% funded. Once you have that amount, our travel agent will call you to tell you the details of your flight and order on your behalf.
8. Can I order my own flight?
• We ask that you go through Freedom Crusades for all travel arrangements. If you have a specific request, please reach out to our Mission Director at mikaela@freedomcrusades.com and we will determine next steps based on your situation.
9. Do I need a COVID test to enter Honduras?
• No, Honduras is no longer requiring COVID tests
10. If I don’t live in the United States, is my cost still the same?
• If you do not live in the United States, or you are traveling from outside of the United States, the total cost of your mission will vary depending on your travel arrangements. You will follow the same process of applying for the mission and scheduling your interview. Upon approval for the mission, a Mission Coordinator will reach out to you to discuss your specific arrangements and will give you the total cost then.
